About the event

Satisfying relationships don’t start with the other person—they start with self-acceptance.

In this talk, we’ll explore how emotional self awareness shapes the quality of our relationships, reduces conflict, and helps us stay connected even when life and people are imperfect. By learning to step back and see the bigger picture, we can relate with more confidence, and stop being derailed by frustration, resentment, or unmet expectations.

Practical, grounded, and relevant to real life.

About the speaker:
Malka Harris Susswein, LCSW is a psychotherapist with 35 years of experience working with Chasidic, Chareidi, and Modern Orthodox communities around trauma, relational disruptions, and ego development. Former Clinical Director at Monsey Medical Center for 15 years, she currently supervises clinicians and treats clients via Zoom, with a focus on life transitions.
