Establishing Life in Israel: A Study of Women's Experiences

Many of us arrive in Israel without a clear roadmap for the long-term implications of our residency status. While life here can be deeply meaningful, it is often far more complex to navigate than we initially expect.

To better understand this experience, I am conducting an anonymous study on behalf of Maagalot to map the real-world costs, benefits, and challenges of settling in Israel with and without “official” Aliyah.

The goal of this study is to offer clarity and support for women in the future, empowering them to make informed and confident decisions about their path in Israel. If you have a few minutes to share your experience, I would be truly grateful to learn from your journey.

Thank you for taking the time to support our endeavor!

About Me

Hi! I'm Sara Rosenthal, originally from LA but calling Israel home for the past 4 years. I'm an outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking, beach, sunsets, and connecting with nature. Professionally, I'm passionate about working with diverse populations, and I have a lot of experience supporting children and adults with special needs. I previously served as the Family Liaison for the Clubhouse, a respite organization for children with special needs, and completed my Foundation Year social work internship at Yachad Israel. This year, I am thrilled to join the Maagalot team as an Advanced Year Social Intern from Touro College. â€‹â€‹
