Rabbi Avrohom Herman, LCSW, brings 39 years of extensive experience as a synagogue and communal rabbi, together with his professional training and experience as a clinical social worker. Throughout his rabbinic career, he has counseled and guided individuals, couples, and families through a wide range of personal, marital, family, religious, and communal challenges.
A graduate of the Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Rabbi Herman has clinical training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). He specializes in anxiety and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and has additional expertise in marital and relationship therapy, including Level 3 training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy and training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
